This is an early World War II production fixed-bale, front-seam M1 helmet that was made by McCord Radiator Company of Hadfield manganese steel. Comes with a World War II production Westinghouse high pressure molded resin impregnated cloth laminate liner. The steel pot is in good condition with a dented bale & some burn marks on the inside from it being used for cooking. World War II era cork-aggregate paint remains on the pot, but there are no chin straps present. The liner is in fair condition with rust & oxidation on the hardware & tears on the suspension.
