Excellent condition Paul Jaeger custom utility sporter on an M98 controlled round feed (CRF) and extract action. 22" polished blue steel bbl with extra forearm sling stud band inletted into stock to form a second recoil lug, 100 and 200 yd folding rear open sights, banded ring style front sight with hood. (Appears to be NECG-style quality sights as their owner/gunsmith Apel was related to Jaeger and once worked there.) Receiver is plum blued a la some custom M70s and Montanas. Low-profile bolt release and interarms style slide safety. Custom Jaeger trigger. Ebony forearm tip and scalloped ebony pistol grip cap w/ knurled butt plate (brand new Pachmeyer Decelerator low-profile slip on recoil pad included). Jaeger standard walnut stock with standard outline checkering (semi wrap-around on forearm) and double-shadowline cheekpiece. Also outfitted with Leupold 1-piece base/rings combo and a new Weaver 1-6 30mm Super Slam scope w/ German #4 reticle and choice of either red or green dot. Rifle was unused by original owner and ~25 rounds have been fired through it to fireform the AI brass using available factory 35 Whelen ammo. Perfect for combo deer/black bear and/or elk, moose and even brown bear or African PG! Dies/brass and poss. some ammo. included.
