Venezuelan Mauser FN (Fabrique Nationale) Model 24/30, All Matching, Excellent Condition, 7x57mm Caliber
Description: Available for sale is a very nice example of a hard to find Venezuelan contract rifle in 7x57mm Caliber This is the (Fabrique Nationale) FN Model 24/30 Short Mauser. These rifles were made by FN in Belgium for Venezuelan contract and were made in 1934 and 1935. The overall condition of this rifle is NRA Very Good to Excellent condition. It shows its original “in the white” finish on the receiver and bolt, and very strong original blue on the barrel, floor plate, barrel bands, and smaller metal parts. This is an all-Matching serial numbers rifle in Very Good to Excellent condition. The pics of the bolt head appear this rifle has never been fired after leaving the factory in the 1930's. The condition of this rifle is what gives it the collectability and value by serious Mauser collectors. There are no visible import marks on the rifle. The stock is also very nice with little to no scratches or dings and there are some very nice tiger stripes found on the this beautiful piece of Walnut. The bore is very good condition, shiny, and has strong lands and grooves. There is a small amount of frosting on the buttplate. There are some cosmoline and cosmoline stains in the reciever/bolt area that need to be cleaned up before firing this rifle. This is a very collectible Mauser and will make an excellent addition to any Mauser collection. Please see pics for a better look at this Venezuelan Mauser rifle.
