Description: Fine Swedish Mauser M38 WWII Military Rifle Offered here for sale is a fine conditioned original Swedish Mauser WWII Period M38 rifle in super accurate 6.5x55 caliber. The Swedish Mauser Model 38 is a bolt-action military rifle that was produced in Sweden, primarily for military use during the mid-20th century. The rifle is chambered in 6.5x55mm Swedish, a highly regarded cartridge known for its accuracy and mild recoil. The Model 38 was a post-World War II development of the earlier M96 Mauser design, meant to modernize and streamline Sweden's military small arms. The Model 38 uses the 6.5x55mm Swedish round, a cartridge that is known for its precision and high ballistic performance, making it a favorite among collectors and shooters alike. This specimen was produced by Husqvarna, a renowned Swedish manufacturer known for its firearms as well as industrial equipment. Husqvarna made these rifles between 1940 and the 1950s. This particular rifle being an early postwar import is notable as it represents the period when Sweden was still using these rifles in active service or reserve roles before transitioning to more modern arms. Serial Number 669246 the rifle has all matching serial numbers. Condition: The rifle has almost all of its blued finish with only minor wear.
