Description:
This is a custom Mauser Sporter rifle in 7mmX57 Mauser. This is a beautiful example of a military Mauser sporter. The barrel is 24 inches long with a shiny bore. Bottom metal is steel sporter style with a floorplate. All metal is in Excellent condition with a minor scratch on the bolt side of the floorplate. The stock is in the Classic style and of High Grade walnut with fine line checkering, a shadow cheek piece, a steel pistol grip cap, a rosewood fore end cap, and a leather butt pad. The wood is in Excellent condition with a few light handling marks on the right side of the butt. The steel grip cap shows some light pitting. This rifle comes equipped with a Leupold M8 6x Compact scope with adjustable parallax in two piece quick release mounts that is included in the price of the rifle. The scope and mounts will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
