WWII Czech BRNO ARMS 8mm Cal. Vz. 24 MAUSER Bolt Action MILITARY Rifle C&R
Made at Zbrojovka Brno, Czechoslovakia with SLING
Description: WWII Czech BRNO ARMS 8mm Cal. Vz. 24 MAUSER Bolt Action MILITARY Rifle C&R Made at Zbrojovka Brno, Czechoslovakia with SLING Here we present a C&R World War II era Czechoslovakian Vz. 24 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle made circa pre-World War II circa 1937 in Brno, Czechoslovakia. This example has Chinese characters in the stock. The vz. 24 rifle is a bolt-action carbine designed and produced in Czechoslovakia from 1924 to 1942. It was developed from the German Mauser Gewehr 98 line and features a very similar bolt design. The rifle was designed in Czechoslovakia shortly after World War I to replace the Vz. 98/22, also a Czech-designed derivative of the Gewehr 98. The carbine followed a similar trend in weapon design at the time, that a short rifle gave away little in ballistic efficiency at combat ranges but was easier to handle on account of its shorter length. Zbrojovka Brno was a state-owned armament factory and was a maker of small arms, light artillery, and motor vehicles in Brno, Czechoslovakia. During the German occupation of Czechoslovakia, Zbrojovka Brno produced weapons for the Wehrmacht and the Waffen-SS. In 1944, the factory was severely damaged in the bombing of Brno and was not rebuilt until after liberation by the allies. Overall condition is good. Strong action. The stock is solid and has been refinished. Darkened bore. “CAI” and “CHINA” import marked. Good leather sling. Legible markings. The numbers are mixed on this example. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 23-1/2 inches. Caliber: 8mm Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R Licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1250 #226699 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
