1916 DATED SPANDAU GEWEHR M98 WW1 NICE MAUSER
Description: Gewehr M98, Mauser rifle that was manufactured at the Imperial Arsenal at Spandau in 1916. This Mauser is in great shape and is all matching except for one barrel band and the bolt. Even the screw heads match this rifle!! All of the bolt matches itself. I've concentrated the photos on showing you the proofs and the serial numbers of this fine WW1 rifle. The stock shows some wear. But it's never been sanded and all of the proofs and the serial number are sharp and clear. The bore has strong rifling. But, does show some frosting. When you consider that this rifle is 106 years old you realize how nice it is!!! This Mauser would make a super addition to any military or WW1 military rifle collection.
