Metal exterior condition is very good with majority of its original finish remaining. Wooden stock is in great shape with some minor dins on the top of the stock. Bolt is not matching. This rifle was made for the German military Gebirgsjäger alpine troops as a short handy carbine for mountain warfare after the annexation of Czechoslovakia by Germany. This Rifle is relatively rare in comparison to other military surplus rifles on the market and is highly sought after.
