Description: Marlin Model 39 fitted with a 24 inch octagon barrel, full length tube magazine, fixed rifle sights (rear elevation adjustable), walnut forearm, walnut pistol grip stock with schnabble pistol gripand fitted with a checkered hard rubber Marlin butt-plate, color case-hardened frame and lever, rest of steel parts are blue finished, and chambered in .22 S, L, LR. This 1926 to 1932 vintage Model 39 is in excellent condition, retaining 98% original blue, with most loss on the foreend cap and at the muzzle of the barrel. The frame and lever retain 99% of their attractive original case colors. The butt-plate fits very well and it is in excellent condition, with only a few minor handling marks. The bore looks as new and the action functions the same. The stock and forearm are in excellent original condition, retaining 99%+ original finishes, with only a few minor handling marks. One of the most attractive lever guns ever made, and this is a fantastic example of its type.
