Description: ******** FALL SPECIAL - FREE SHIPPING ******** Marlin Model 336RC carbine in caliber 30-30 Winchester, blued finish, plain walnut stocks, plain pistol grip, open sights, shotgun butt with Marlin logo butt plate, early stock with no spacers or pistol grip cap, retains the Marlin Bullseye, early blued trigger, serial number G42430, made 1950. CONDITION: Butt stock has nicks and gouges plus a tight split coming off the lower tang into the pistol grip. Butt plate has a few chips along the edges and has flecks of white paint. Fore arm has only a couple of nicks/dings but has shrunken slightly over time and is a hair loose (barrel band is as tight as it can be). All blued parts are 90% or better original blue. Top of receiver has been drilled and tapped for a scope, now plugged with correct screws. Rear sight is from a later Marlin with a Winchester thump print elevator. Front sight is correct. Action is smooth with a properly working half cock safety. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling, a 9 of 10. TERMS: No international sales.
