Marlin 39 A Mountie 22 lr

Marlin 39A,1954 Mountie, S/N L15094. 20 " barrel, straight stock, no checkering.This is a Mountie although it does not say Mountie on barrel. The Mountie name started in 57 or 58. It has a Weaver B4 scope that is clear and useable. The mount is a Weaver N2 attached by screws in the barrel. These were probably put in at the factory but could have been added later as fixtures were made to locate the holes correctly. The wood has been nicely refinished and has no dings. There is an area of tiny dots on lh side of receiver. These are not deep pits and are not felt with a fingernail. There are a few more tiny dots elsewhere on the metal. This rifle operates perfectly- I have fired it within the last year. Shipping and insurance will be $50. Money Order or Cashier's check
