Description:
The Guide Gun was originally an aftermarket mod of the Model 336, and eventually was added to the Marlin catalog. This one appears to be a true Marlin having a 1895G barrel mark. It is the Large Loop version and features a hooded front sight and "Skinner" Ghost Ring. The rear notch sight was removed. It has a 3/4 length magazine. It is an excellent choice for any game, or a "back up" rifle for dangerous game hunters .45-70 Government
