Marlin's first reintroduction of its original (going back to the late 1800s) and in appearance very much like the original with straight stock and curved butt (not butt had been trimmed at some point to accept a pad but really expertly replaced or original lenght
This gun is in exceptional condition. it has been equipped with a longer mag tube for cowboy action shooting (action has been expertly slicked up and is FAR more smooth than factory) and the original correct mag (1/2 mag) comes with the gun to return to its tradkitonal appearance. It also comes with an excellent Lyman receiver sight, again far better than the factory open sights.
Blue is at a mnimum well over 90%, likley 95%.
These are designemed to handle moder powerful 45-70 ammo capable of handling any game on the continent and factory drilled and tapped for a scope.

This gun is in exceptional condition. it has been equipped with a longer mag tube for cowboy action shooting (action has been expertly slicked up and is FAR more smooth than factory) and the original correct mag (1/2 mag) comes with the gun to return to its tradkitonal appearance. It also comes with an excellent Lyman receiver sight, again far better than the factory open sights.
Blue is at a mnimum well over 90%, likley 95%.
These are designemed to handle moder powerful 45-70 ammo capable of handling any game on the continent and factory drilled and tapped for a scope.
