*NICE* MARLIN Model 1893 mfg early in 1894. Chambered in the .38-55WCF cartridge. Wonderful original case colors still on receiver and lever. 26" Octagon barrel with superb bore. Excellent (original I believe)bluing. Special order semi pistol grip deluxe checkered stock and forearm. Wood has been refinished with the checkering unfortunately nearly gone off forearm , while pistol grip checkering, still present, is quite flattened. Crescent buttplate reblued. Rifle sports a Lyman Tang combination sight with rear barrel sight removed and slot filled. Action is solid and tight. Great looking old Marlin in a great caliber. Antique status. Shipping & insurance $75.00 in lower 48. Thanks for looking.
