Description: ****SOLD**** Presented here is a very desirable JM Marlin model 1894CL lever action rifle chambered in .32-20 caliber. The Marlin Model 1894 is a lever-action repeating rifle introduced in 1894 by the Marlin Firearms Company of North Haven, Connecticut. At its introduction, the rifle came with a 24-inch barrel and was chambered for a variety of rounds such as .25-20 Winchester, .32-20 Winchester, .38-40, and .44-40. Variants in other chamberings remain in production today. Many outdoorsmen prefer the Marlin action over the Winchester 94 because the top of the receiver is covered which minimizes the chance of debris getting into the inner workings and causing cycling issues. This particular example is in outstanding condition physically and mechanically. The 21.5" barrel has a minty bore with as-new rifling, blade front, and adjustable rear sights. The tubular magazine is a half magazine. This rifle could pass as new. This fine JM Marlin would be a great addition to a collection and a good investment as well.
