Marlin Model 81 - Bolt Action - .22 Rifle - Smooth one piece walnut pistol grip style stock and forend with sling swivels and butt plate. 24 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and and a front bead sight. Tubular magazine will accept 24 Short, 20 Long and 18 LR ammo. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 80% bluing. Stock and forend are in exceptional condition for the age of this rifle with minimal handling marks. Appears to have been well cared for. Overall condition is excellent. Includes a new soft sleeve. Manufactured from 1937 to 1940. The 81 series Marlin has become known for it's accuracy and reliability.  Nice addition to any collection.
