Marlin Golden 39A 22 caliber Rimfire Rifle Made 1979
Description: ******* Dog days of summer special - Free Shipping!! ******* Marlin Model Golden 39A 24" round JM-marked Micro Groove barrel, full magazine, plain walnut stocks with white line spacers and Marlin logo hard rubber butt plate, pistol grip with cap, ramped front sight (missing hood) and open rear sight, gold trigger, caliber 22 short/long/long rifle, serial number 21267331, made 1979. All blued surfaces are 95% bright and original with a few scattered locations of very minor surface staining, and almost all the gold remains on the trigger. Sling swivels are in their original factory-installed locations on the mag tube cap and butt stock, the Marlin Bullseye still intact. Top of receiver factory drilled & tapped for a scope and shows no prior scope block wear. Butt plate and grip cap white line spacers both fit well, with some crackling starting to occur to the surface finish of the grip cap. Excellent, bright shiny bore rates a 9.5 of 10. Action is smooth, half cock safety functions properly. This carbine feeds, fires and ejects as it should, having been test-fired using Remington target load ammo. Stocks show just light wear, so splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished. A nice, later Golden 39A that presents well and will make a great hunter/shooter. Offers entertained.
