Marlin 1895 CLTD Rare: one of the last 3 of 2500 made in 1995 NEW IN BOX STUNNING ENGRAVED BEAUTY

THIS IS A REALLY SPECIAL GUN: Made to commemorate the 125th anniversay of Marlin (now sadly gone) and the 100th anniversary of the 1895 model and so marked on either side of the heavily and beautifully engraved (signed)  receiver. The very nicely done engraving done by the firm of Bottega C Giovanelli founded in 1955 and is signed. 
The half round half octagon barrel is polllished to a greater degree than any Marlin we can ever recall seeing. Handsome nicely checkered American Walnut stocks with a crecent butt. The engraving rite side has the tradtional Marlin Rider on horseback with beautiful scroll full coverage and the left has a a pair of grizzlies; also with full coverage scroll on the stainless receiver; even the lever has some engraving as does the top of the reciever.  This is a true New Haven Ct gun and is marked JM.
It comes with the correct properly marked Marlin shipping outer box, the new condtion innner box with papers. it appears to have been test fireld but clearly not used. We feel the value to be several hundred more than were we have priced it
