Marlin Mod 1892, .22 LR, 24” Octagonal barrel, Restoration, ANTIQUE

Description:
This J. M. Marlin Model 1892 rifle is chambered in .22 LR. It was made in 1897 in New Haven Conn.
More recently it has been professionally restored and is in beautiful condition as can be seen in the many photos. The metal has been re-finished as appropriate with a blue barrel and small parts. The Receiver, Buttplate, & Hammer & Lever have been nicely color case hardened. The Trigger and front sight are Gold plated to add a contrast. The action is tight and excellent. The bore is strong but slightly rough. with very good rifling. Both the Walnut stock and Forearm are hand checkered in a very fine pitch. A Gold Plated 1892 Silver Doller has been inletted into the Buttstock, a very nice accent that really sets this rifle off.
This is a very pretty lever action rifle chambered for the inexpensive 22 rifle cartridge that would enhance many collections.   Cal. .22 L.R. with a 24 in. barrel.  Serial Number 146317, ANTIQUE.

SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with a return receipt.   Packing, Shipping and Insurance cost for this Long Gun is $60.00.

          Antique firearms, pre 1898 do not require a Federal License. For purchase, a copy of a Government Issued Identification (Drivers License, Etc), showing date of birth and current address will be required.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold for collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded.  All layaway purchases are returnable for merchandise credit only.
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee.  Checks, both Bank and Personal must clear before the order will be shipped, usually a 2 week delay. 
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 60 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
