About Us: We are an “Old School” gun store with a vintage Western style. We do carry various modern pistols, revolvers and long guns. However, our specialty is vintage firearms including bolt action, lever action and semi automatic rifles. For example, we usually have at least two or three M-1 Garand rifles at any given moment. Other times we may have one or two Springfield 1903 rifles. Also in stock are a few dozen lever action rifles available in different calibers & barrel lengths. Lastly, we have a wide variety of Colt Single Action Army revolvers in different calibers and barrel lengths. (NOTE: we try & remove items from Guns International ASAP if they are sold through our retail location, but there may be a slight delay in doing so)
Marlin 1895 lever action rifle in 45–90 caliber.
Description: Serious Marlin collectors, have a look at this: it's a Marlin 1895 lever action rifle manufactured in 1897. This is the nicest antique Marlin I've seen in the shop so far. It has a 26 inch octagon barrel with a rear flip up tang sight. Most of the original case bluing is still visible on the receiver, and the action cycles very smoothly. It's in 45-90 caliber, and in very good to excellent condition for its age. Excellent bore as well. (My understanding is this rifle will also chamber 45-70 caliber, just like a Marlin 1894 will chamber 44 Special as well as 44 Magnum) This rifle is considered an antique, therefore no paperwork is needed for purchase. This is one of the items I would recommend coming into the shop and seeing in person, pictures don't do it justice. We reserve the right to sell this item at our shop until an offer is placed on Guns International. We accept all major credit cards with a 4% surcharge. We will also accept personal checks, however your check must clear our bank before we ship this item. Please allow us up to three business days to return email messages.
