D2D has completed over 35,000 offerings during the past 25 years of business! We offer you a “Scarce” Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer 1956 MC Rifle Chambered in .458 Winchester Magnum caliber from 1961. This model in the .458 Winchester Magnum caliber is a rare find. Very few were imported and sold in the U.S.A. The rifle bluing is in excellent condition as you can see. The bore is also in excellent condition with no issues. The stock is in very fine to excellent condition with some light use marks. On the right side of the stock below the chamber area is a light surface scratch. It appears to be more severe than it actually is in the pictures. The edge of the Monte Carlo cheek piece shows some edge dings as pictured. On the right edge of the action flat is a number that was lightly scribed into the metal. The right side of the barrel at the chamber and the receiver ring are marked “34501”. The top of the receiver ring is marked “MADE IN AUSTRIA / Original / Mannlicher / Schoenauer / Mod MC / KAL 458”. The left side of the chamber ring is marked with an Eagle proof mark, “NP” and “61”. Followed by “Steyr - Daimler - Puch A.G., followed by the “STEYR” bullseye logo. The left side of the barrel is marked with a proof mark and “61”. The floor plate is marked with a “STEYR” bullseye logo. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $85. This rifle will be shipped in a heavy double walled foam lined cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe. Payment to be made by USPS Money Order or Cashier’s Check.
