Mannlicher Schoenauer 1903 Carbine 6.5 x 54 mm
Description:
Full length stock, folding two leaf rear sight, double set trigger, and 17.7” barrel. The gun was expertly restored many years ago and the finishes remain near perfect. The owner of the collection had owned it since the late 1950s. Based on other guns in his collection it’s likely Griffon & Howe did the work because he used their services quite a lot and owned several of their custom rifles. This is only my guess, but the rust blue is among the finest I’ve seen! The bore is bright and shinny and the inside is very clean, including the bolt face. Overall a lovely gun that presents exceedingly well. $50 shipping
