This is for a very handy beautiful Champlin custom carbine in .375H&H.
10X wood, outstanding. Schnabel forend, custom grip cap. Trap door for cartridges. Octagonal tapered barrel.
Champlin is still around. The original makers are long gone. This gun was surely around $25K to make in the day. Recently appraised by famous local smith at $10K.
Schmidt & Bender scope, perfect for this gun. Overall length is 40" LOP is 13.7"
I am selling all my collection of 35 years due to age and ill health. I bought this piece from another lefty collector years ago with the same issues. Now my turn.
Its truly one of a kind. I have never fired this gun.
Metal and wood is 95 percent or better.
The Champlin action is a work of art and patented. Google US Patent 3494216.
