The RFB was originally introduced to the American market in 2008. “RFB” stands for Rifle Forward-ejecting Bullpup. It is the first successful American-built bullpup rifle, wherein the action is located behind the trigger assembly. The purpose of this is to reduce the overall length of the rifle compared to a conventional rifle. For example, at 27.5 inches in length, the RFB is still shorter than an AR-10 with a short 16” barrel. The RFB uses a tunnel-type ejection port were an empty casing is ejected from the front of the rifle rather than the sides.
