The MR762A1 series is a civilian reproduction of H&K‚‚s famous 417 service rifle. The rifle features the company‚‚s proprietary short stroke gas piston that allows the gun to run cleaner and cooler than traditional direct impingement AR-style rifles. A tungsten-filled buffer tube to helps slow the bolt carrier during the firing action, allowing for increased reliability and reduced felt recoil during operation. The rifle features a medium contour barrel to help reduce weight while maintaining accuracy under heavier strings of fire.
