Rare Pre Ban FNC Paratrooper in .223 Rem as manufactured by FN-Herstal, 16" bbl with factory side folding paratrooper butt stock.
The FNC developed in the 1970s as a potential competitor against the U.S. M16/AR-15 rifle, the FNC was adopted by a number of armed forces, including the Belgians, as well as being licensed for production in Sweden and Indonesia. The folding stock Paratrooper, was Introduced in 1979 with very few imported into the United States.
The upper receiver is marked for Steyr of NJ and Gun South Inc of Birmingham, Alabama. Includes one 30-rd non FN magazine and ARMS scope mount. Post front and two-leaf peep rear sights, with a flip-up grenade sight, vented and ribbed forearm, and smooth pistol grip. The selector is marked for "S" (safe), "1" (semi-automatic). The gas pistol has two setting, one for normal operation and a second for "adverse" condidtions.
Gun is in Pristine condition with very minor handling marks. We rate 98-99%..both metal and furniture alike. Very worthy for and FN collector or fan of the 1995 Heat film staring AL Pacino. Satisfaction guaranteed!
