This listing is for a USED Long Branch SMLE No.4 Mk I* 303 British 1943 Blued Finish 25.2\" BBL 10+1. This is a used gun, it has been fired and will have residue present. This Long Branch SMLE No.4 Mk I* is chambered in 303 British, and it will hold 10 rounds in the detachable magazine. This rifle appears to have been made in 1943 by Long Branch Armory. The serial number matches on the receiver, bolt handle, and on the magazine. The magazine follower is marked with a circled B marking it as Long Branch. The stock has been stamped with the same number that is below the serial number. The receiver forward of the bolt is marked “NZ” along with the serial number. This rifle comes with a 25.2 inch barrel. It comes equipped with a fixed front sight, and an adjustable rear sight. There are scratches present across the barrel, receiver, and on the stock. The front sight has been lightly painted. The heel of the stock has previously been repaired. The bore appears to be in good condition, but there is fouling present throughout it. The action appears to be in good condition. This would be a great addition to your collection.
