Enfield No 5 Mk 1 Jungle Carbine
Description: Enfield No 5 Mk 1 Jungle Carbine Offering an extremely nice Enfield No 5 Mk 1 in 303 British. The owner bought this rifle prior to 1968 and has never fired it. The rifle has no import stampings or marks. The rifle is marked ROF(F) just past the Model designation. This rifle bears serial # B4988 and this serial number is present throughout this rifles metal components. Stamped directly in front of the serial number is 10/44. This rifle has absolutely no import marks or stampings on it. This rifles bore is mirror bright and appears flawless. The exterior finish is very good with probably 97% remaining. The rifle still has some of the preservative on it. The wood stock is virtually perfect. There are various other martial markings on the rifle and I will describe or photograph them to the best of my ability. Starting from the muzzle front sight assembly is stamped with an F. The barrel has the British caliber, and proof mark. The bolt is serialized to the receiver. The magazine follower is marked N77 and appears to have never had a cartridge loaded into it. The striker is marked FY MKII. Folks please view the photos carefully. Yes, we can and do ship into California.
