"Rare Enfield L42A1 Sniper rifle with crate 7.62x51 (R43154)

Description:
"Serial No. AB7877, made in 1943, 7.62x51, 29" round barrel, bore is bright and shiny with handsome rifling. Rifle was converted in the early 1960’s. Serial numbers are matching, including scope base. Receiver is correctly marked “L42A1 D79", with the bolt also being stamped “19T". This stamp indicates reproofing for the .308 round. The No.32 Mk III scope has had its original stampings lined out with correct arsenal restamp applied. Stock is in excellent condition, Scope glass is clear. Action is smooth and functions correctly. It is estimated that only 400 of these rifles were imported in by Navy Arms in the 1980s. This rifle comes with its original crate and scope case!
