PRE-WAR GERMAN DRILLING BY "MILLER & VAL. GREISE, MUNCHEN" 16 GAUGE / 8x47JR

Description:
16 gauge double shotgun over 8x57JR rifle barrel. Blitz action with the front trigger set cocking indicators and sliding tang safety. Rifle actuator lever is located under the top lever and also engages the flip up barrel sight. Mounts are present on the barrel for a detachable scope not with the rifle. Checkered walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock ending with a non factory pad. LOP 15 1/2". (14 1/4" to the wood". The engraved and scalloped frame with double underlocking lugs and third bite is tight on face. Excellent bores with the rifle showing some minor wear. Mfg. date 11/33. Mechanically excellent.
