Price reduced. Nice German made pre war combination rifle shotgun the left side of the action has C. Grundig Dresden engraved while the right side has K.S. Hofbichsen Macher . Barrels have a later installed Krieghoff slide on scope mount .The Krieghoff slide on mount is a rare bonus as it allows the use of modern scope rings such as Talley or The Ruger style rings as used here so any 1" scope can be mounted without extra cost. The scope is a 1950's period Weaver 2.5x C-3 with the German post style recticle. Rifle has some wear but overall is in still good condition and locks up tight. Shotgun bore is full choke and excellent, rifle bore has good rifling just a little dark, could use a cleaning. Checkering has some wear on the forearm and the butt has typical wear with light scratches on the butt end. Blueing on the barrels is around 80 % with typical wear at receiver end. Action has original nickel plating with fine scroll engraving with safety on the tang. butt has a horn butt plate. Barrel rib has two flip up sights. It may be possible to use one for the rifled barrel and the other for a Breneke rifled slug making this a double rifle of sorts for close wooded hunting. Shotgun chamber is 2 1/2" so shot shell and slug shells would have to be 2 1/2" . They are available from many dealers. A box of S&B 9.3 x 72R shells is included with the sale .
