Offered is a quality custom built 250-3000 (.250 Savage) rifle by Pfeifer Rifle Co. of Roscoe, CA in the 1950's. Built on a quality, vintage, Belgian made FN Mauser bolt action. The Pfeifer made barrel is 26 inches in length, medium weight, and features cut rifling. The custom stock is made from a nicely figured blank with black streaks and some fiddleback. Recoil pad is a solid black Pachmayer unit. Forend is about 2 1/8 inches wide and flat bottom. The stock is believed to be made by Monty Kernnedy. Trigger is custom with a light letoff and very crisp. Blued finish is near new, showing over 99%.
