Custom Winchester Model 70 in .257 Roberts/.257 Ackley Improved

Description: This is a really neat custom Winchester Model 70. It has been re-barreled with a custom barrel to .257 Ackley Improved, which allows you to fire .257 Roberts to fire-form the brass for the Ackley Improved version of the same caliber. The barrel is 25 inches long. It has been restocked with a radical looking and lightweight Walnut stock that is checkered on the forearm and pistol grip. The length of pull is 14.75 inches to the end of the pad. The stainless barrel, receiver, and trigger guard are all in excellent condition. The bore is minty and bright, with nice sharp rifling. The stock is in great shape as well with only some small handling marks and no cracks or repairs. Everything functions on this rifle 100% like it is supposed to. This rifle tips the scales at 9lbs and 4 ounces unloaded. It comes with a Weaver variable power scope from 6 to 20 power with an adjustable objective lens. It is called the Weaver Grand Slam model and is a special Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation limited edition. All of the scope adjustments work perfectly and the glass is crystal clear. This rifle comes with a set of reloading dies for this cartridge. This would be a very fun rifle to take out long range shooting or to the field hunting.
