This is for a very pretty custom rifle made by a famous gunsmith in Oregon. A distant relative of Tom Mix the cowboy actor. Could not find anything on theabout him. Met him years ago, bought two of his personal collection before he passed away. This is one, my other listing depicts another.
In 30-06 on an Interarms Mark X action. He did his own wood, and a master he was. This is 10X wood. See all the many details and fine work.
Due to near blindness when he finished these guns, neither have had a round through them. In my collection for years, never fired.
I added the brand new Swarovski scope, its a Habicht, 2.5-10x42.  The optic alone and mounts were over $2K
I am selling all due to my own poor health and age.  See my feedback.
Exceptional examples like this are becoming rare. All these old master are pasisng from the scene.  A newly ordered gun like this would cost many times my price.
