D2D has completed over 35,000 offerings during the past 22 years of business! We offer you a “Custom” WWII G.I. Acquired Engraved Mosin Nagant 7.62×54mmR model 91/33 Bolt Action Rifle. This rifle was brought back by a WWII Veteran that remained in the Army and was stationed in Japan until 1951. He had the rifle made – commissioned while he was stationed there. The rifle was completely scrubbed of markings with the exception on the Izhevsk (arsenal mark: triangle w/upright arrow inside) on the bottom of the tang and rear sight. There are also several single numbers and letters on the bottom of the action. So we believe the rifle was manufacture around 1935 to 1941. Regardless, it has to ship to an FFL dealer for transfer. The barrel has been shortened to around 26 inches and wears a front sight ramp with the original rear barrel sight. The bore is in very fine condition being bright with excellent lands and grooves with a slight frosting in the grooves near the muzzle. As you can see the barrel is engraved almost the full length. As is the receiver and bottom metal. This is not the stipple type engraving they pass of now as “engraved” that you see. This is old school deep engraving as shown in the pictures. The metal finish is in excellent condition as you can see. The bolt handle has also been modified and the rifle functions just fine. One of the most distinguishable aspects of this custom rifle is the deeply engraved and finely detailed dragon on the stock. It is very impressive to look at in the hand. These types of rifles don’t make it to the open market very often. So take a look and see if this one should be something you would like to show off to your gun buddies. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $60. It will be shipped in a double walled foam lined cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
