Bill Dowtin .404 Jeffery

Description:
Built by Bill Dowtin on a Wells custom Mauser action out of Prescott, Arizona, this .404 Jeffery is purpose-built in a true express rifle style. The dark English walnut stock with a red Silvers pad oozes old world Africa.
The Wells aciton holds five rounds down. Topped with a Trijicon 1-4x24 held by EAW Quick Detachable rings. Once removed, the express sights point as natural as a well-fitted shotgun.
The metal work is in near-perfect condition and the stock is in good shape overall other than some light marks on the left hand side below the center of the reciever (see pics).
