Description:
22 1/2" tapered octagon-to-round barrel with full-band swivel base. Highly figured English walnut stock with ebony forend tip, point-pattern checkering, skeleton pistol grip cap, classic comb, double-beaded pancake cheekpiece, inletted rear swivel stud, and hand made skeleton buttplate. SAKO L461 short action with jeweled bolt, 2-panel checkered bolt knob, Model 70-type safety, and hinged straddle floorplate with release inside triggerguard. Metalwork by Ed LaPour, Extensively engraved by Brian Hochstrat: Flush-inlaid gold scroll at muzzle, swivel, breech and Talley fixed rings fitting custom action squarebridge dovetails directly without separate bases. Gold-highlighted deep-chiseled scroll on action, bolt, cocking piece, floorplate, triggerguard, skeleton grip cap and buttplate; and with gold-inlaid fox on floorplate. Pull: 13 7/8".
