"Roy Gradle Custom Left Hand Mauser Rifle 6.5x55 (R39335) Consignment

SN: 23908Z. 1930's production, 6.5x55 caliber with a 24"" barrel. Bore is excellent. A very unusual custom left-hand conversion of a K98 Mauser rifle. Gradle developed an ingenious gear driven system to work the bolt on a right hand action from the left side. The stock is of checkered walnut with a left hand cheekpiece. Has a Leupold 3x9 scope. Gradle was known for doing quality custom gunsmithing work in the post-war period and he was known to have made only a handful of his left hand conversions. A neat and unusual piece.
