"Sn: 14290 made in Germany. Custom bolt action sporting rifle built on a Mauser 1888 action with a 24" Boehler octagon to round barrel with a full length integral rib and hinged switchable front sight beads. Express rear sight with standing bar, 2 folding leaves and folding ladder as well as a Lyman cocking piece peep sight. Spoon bolt handle, double set triggers and case hardened hinged bottom metal with an inside the guard release. Nicely figured checkered walnut stock has a 13.75" LOP to a basketweave horn butt plate with a horn pistol grip cap, silver stock shield, engraved rosette cross bolt and keyed forearm with a horn forend tip as well as a Schnabel forend and flat side panels. Bore is bright with strong rifling and finish is in very good condition with minimal wear. Overall in very good condition.
