Colt R 6701 Sporter Competition HBAR, Limited Production, Cal. .223 (5.56mm)

Description:
Colt Model R6701 fitted with a 20 inch heavy barrel with 1/9 twist, target style counterbored muzzle with flash hider, & with out a bayonet lug, flat top receiver with forward assist with brass deflector & dust cover, an installed "Accuwedge" fitted between the upper and lower receiver as original equipment, the flat top receiver is also fitted with a Colt stamped A.R.M.S. -5 detachable Weaver style scope mount and clamp on 1 inch scope rings, composition stock and finger groove pistol grip, is matt black finished, and chambered in .223 (5.56mm).  These were a limited production rifle made in 1991, serial number range of CH000001 to CH002000.  This rifle, serial number CH001404, is in near new/unfired condition and comes with its original numbered to the gun box, cleaning kit, sling, and (2) 5-round magazines, sorry, no paper-work.
