COLT AR15 SP1 CHAMBERED IN .223 **PREBAN** SOLD

Description:
Colt SP1, AR-15 A2, HBAR, **PREBAN** chambered in .223/5.56.  If you have been looking for a clean and all-original "Pre-Ban" Colt AR-15 SP1 for your collection this is it.  This particular SP1 is serial number SP73117 and is in excellent condition.  This Colt has been fired but, certainly not abused.   The chrome bore in this SP1 is flat mint with no visible imperfections and nice sharp rifling. The internals are pristine, with little wear on the small parts. The original Colt factory parkerizing is in beautiful shape with a very pleasing and consistent gray color tone and very few visible handling/storage marks. All of the Colt factory stampings are in excellent shape and legible, including the stamping on the top of the barrel "C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 HBAR". The original Colt-manufactured furniture set on this SP1 looks great and is in excellent condition overall. All three pieces are free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or major damage.  They all show only some very minor handling/storage marks but nothing that detracts from the extremely clean and crisp look of this Colt SP1. All of the controls on this rifle work 100% like the day it left the factory. The action is smooth and goes into battery with authority, and the original two-stage combat trigger is excellent, breaking with a light pull with no grit or slop at the second stage. This Colt should function perfectly if the new owner chooses to shoot it. This SP1 comes with the original black factory sling attached to it, which is in excellent condition like the rifle. With the prices on all-original specimens in excellent condition like this one steadily climbing every year, if you have been wanting to add one to your collection here is your chance. Comes with one 30 round magazine.
