"HARPERS/FERRY/1846" marked tail of the lock, Federal eagle and shield motif over "US" at the center, "1846" dated barrel tang, "V/P" above eagle head proofs at the breech, two bordered script cartouches stamped on the left flat, "U.S" marked buttplate, with original smoothbore. .69 cal. Condition: ... Very Good with lightly scattered mild pitting, brown and gray patina.
