Original wood in very nice condition with the correct "U.S." marked carbine buttplate. Original sling and ring. Nice functioning action. 22 inch round barrel is a gun metal grey coloration turning a darker brown patina. Bright shiny bore with strong rifling. 2 visible cartouches and several inspector marks. Original sights. Overall a nice clean little Civil War carbine.
