This listing is for a very good condition Zastava Arms made for Charles Daly 22LR caliber bolt action rifle. The rifle's receiver has a polished flat area which is stamped "Charles Daly by Zastava" The rifle's original box, which is serial numbered to the rifle, states "Model: Superior II Bolt Action Rimfire". Zastava Arms is a long established firearms manufacturer located in Europe. For many decades Zastava's products have been imported and sold in the U.S. by various firearms marketing companies. Zastava sporting arms have a good reputation for quality. Their sporting products are known for being traditional and showing a high degree of old world craftsmanship.
The rifle is made of 100% steel, no aluminum nor plastic parts (with the exception of the wood stock & plastic butt plate). The rifle has a 22" tapered barrel with hooded ramp front sight and adjustable fold down barrel mounted rear sight. The tapered barrel and quality sights are more in line with what one would expect to see on a center fire rifle, not on a 22 rimfire. The metal is finished a great looking polished deep blue. The stock is oil finished wood and features checkered panels on the pistol grip area and the forearm. In this day of plastic stocks, matte finished metal and aluminum components it is refreshing to see a rifle displaying old world materials and workmanship. Other notable features for this rifle are: a detachable 5 shot magazine (clip), two position safety, approx 14 1/8" length of pull and factory installed sling swivel studs. Included with the rifle is the original Charles Daly box, a 16 page owners manual and all other paperwork which came with the rifle. After purchasing this new in the box Daly Zastava I realized what a well made 22 rifle it is. Even though the rifle came with dovetails on the receiver, I decided to scope the rifle in a more substantial manner with quality steel bases and rings. I had a local area gunsmith do the work. He outfitted the rifle with Redfield bases, Redfield rings and a Leupold 6 power scope with Duplex reticle (cross hairs).
The rifle has received very little use. It has only made the occasional trip to the rifle range, but not often. It has remained in near new condition, has never been hunted with nor exposed to the elements. It has spent the vast majority of its life in a gun safe. Included with the rifle is the original Charles Daly box, a 16 page owners manual and all other paperwork which came with the rifle. After purchasing this new in the box Daly Zastava I realized what a well made 22 rifle it is. Even though the rifle came with dovetails on the receiver, I decided to scope the rifle in a more substantial manner with quality steel bases and rings. I had a local area gunsmith do the work. He outfitted the rifle with Redfield bases, Redfield rings and a Leupold 6 power scope with Duplex reticle (cross hairs).
The rifle has received very little use. It has only made the occasional trip to the rifle range, but not often. It has remained in near new condition, has never been hunted with nor exposed to the elements. It has spent the vast majority of its life in a gun safe. The rifle remains in very good near new condition as a review of the photos will indicate. It perhaps may not be perfect, but whatever flaws one may find will be few in number and not severe. I am confident a buyer who appreciates quality and is in the market for a 22LR rim-fire rifle will enjoy owning this rifle.
It is the buyers responsibility to assure receiving a bolt action rifle is legal in his state and local area. Further, the buyer must furnish me with a copy of the dealer's FFL who will be receiving and handling the gun transfer. I am a private party. You will need to be sure the FFL holder accepts shipments from a private party. Do not fail to cover this issue with your FFL, for the last thing you want is a gun delivered to your FFL holder who can not, or will not, transfer the rifle to you. Any and all requirements of this FFL holder which affect me (the shipper) need to be communicated to me before the rifle is packaged for shipment. For shipment the scoped rifle will be shipped in the original Charles Daly carton (photos 14 & 15). Additionally, this box will then be enclosed in a second cardboard outer carton to help assure the rifle arrives in good condition. A flat rate shipping charge is $70.00 to the lower contiguous 47 states. No sales to CA. The $70 shipping charge will include insurance through the delivering carrier against loss or any shipping damage.

This listing is for a very good condition Zastava Arms made for Charles Daly 22LR caliber bolt action rifle. The rifle's receiver has a polished flat area which is stamped "Charles Daly by Zastava" The rifle's original box, which is serial numbered to the rifle, states "Model: Superior II Bolt Action Rimfire". Zastava Arms is a long established firearms manufacturer located in Europe. For many decades Zastava's products have been imported and sold in the U.S. by various firearms marketing companies. Zastava sporting arms have a good reputation for quality. Their sporting products are known for being traditional and showing a high degree of old world craftsmanship.
The rifle is made of 100% steel, no aluminum nor plastic parts (with the exception of the wood stock & plastic butt plate). The rifle has a 22" tapered barrel with hooded ramp front sight and adjustable fold down barrel mounted rear sight. The tapered barrel and quality sights are more in line with what one would expect to see on a center fire rifle, not on a 22 rimfire. The metal is finished a great looking polished deep blue. The stock is oil finished wood and features checkered panels on the pistol grip area and the forearm. In this day of plastic stocks, matte finished metal and aluminum components it is refreshing to see a rifle displaying old world materials and workmanship. Other notable features for this rifle are: a detachable 5 shot magazine (clip), two position safety, approx 14 1/8" length of pull and factory installed sling swivel studs.
