The BFT47 is one of Century Arms newest iterations of the legendary AK-47 rifle. The BFT47 features tough construction with respect to its parts. These include a bulged/forged front trunnion made of 4140 steel, a thick 1.5 mm receiver made of heat treated 4130 steel, and a 4140 steel bolt which is carburized. This means the bolt is case hardened to a higher hardness level while the core remains sufficiently ductile to prevent cracking. The 16.25” barrel is made from chrome-moly 4150 steel. The BFT is designed to function with all commercially available ammo no matter what. Like the VSKA rifle, the BFT47 sports the RAK-1 Enhanced trigger group for an all-round better trigger pull. The safety has a bolt hold open notch though this must done manually. The left side of the receiver is fitted with the classic AK-style side mount rail. The BFT47 uses an extended T-shaped magazine catch/release for easier operation under the worst conditions. Like any good AK rifle, the BFT47 is equipped with a bayonet lug and a cleaning rod. This brand new in the box rifle comes with one 30-round magazine.
