About Us: Hoss Cannons builds 3 different models of Cannons. We have the " Hoss " It can be built in 1.50 cal to shoot lead or the 1.75 for golf balls & light powder lead loads. The " Little Hoss " is a 1.50" barrel that is made to shoot lead. It will fit through most doors in the average home. Talk about a great display piece !!! The barrel is 72# & the carriage 50#. It can be disassembled into 3 pieces. The barrel, the wheels & the carriage in 5 min's & will fit in the back seat of a car. All the hardware is hand forged. The barrel has a 1/4 "steel liner. Then there's the "Big Hoss" This shoots a 1.75 lead ball at supersonic speeds. It has 1/2 inch steel liner & was built to shoot lead fast. They're built 1 at a time & they can all be customized.

MAJOR PRICE REDUCTION !!!! This cannon was taken apart by me after purchasing it online All parts were assembled with epoxy, large rods, & lag bolts. I replaced the barrel with a 1.25" cal. barrel that has a 1/2" steel liner. This barrel was built to shoot lead fast. Very fast. Also shooting lead in a 1.25 ball is a lot cheaper. The balls can be shot supersonic. It uses a 6mm TimeCert inserted & bonded in the fuse hole. Then the "Mag Spark 209 shotgun primer kit system" is installed . The slam hammer sets it all off with a pull of the string. You can use a fuse if you prefer. Custom cast heavy duty trunnion caps werre installed. The 30 " wheeles were Amish built. The cannon comes with a custom Brass ball mold made for this barrel. This is a great cannon for display but it's built to shoot. I shot this cannon over 150 times & it's perfect. It's a steal at only $3995. I have a lot more into it & that's not counting my time. Check your state laws but it would be great for hog hunting. It is a capped muzzle loader.
