Very Clean 1959 Belgian Browning SA22 Wheelsight 22lr Grooved Receiver

Up for sale is an excellent example of these desirable early Belgium Browning SA-22 rifles. Before 1956 FN had been making versions of them as far back as the mid/late 1910s, this gun is from the first run of Browning marketed guns for the USA. This gun is nearing the tail end of the wheel sight production which ended around 1961

Not easy to find these earlier guns in nice shape, they were tools and most poeple used them as such! This gun is not pristine but I would say it falls in the 95-98% range and remains completely original in all aspects! This gun I believe can be considered collector condition, if not it is a very high end shootable example.
