Description: Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars who prides themselves on showing the complete gun in high quality pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you a “Custom Stocked” Browning B-78 High Wall Single Shot Rifle chambered in 7 mm Remington Magnum that was manufactured in 1977. In 1973 Browning introduce the Model 78 High Wall, more commonly known as the B-78 falling block single shot rifle. The rifle wears a 26 inch tapered octagon barrel that has an excellent bore with no issues. The factory bluing on the barrel and receiver are in excellent condition showing thinning on the edges with a few minor marks. The original owner who was an accomplished Gunsmith restocked the rifle as you can see. He used the original factory pad and sling swivel mounts as shown. The highly figured walnut stocks are in excellent condition with a few minor marks from use. The left shoulder of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN”. The right shoulder is marked “BROWNING–78 CALIBER 7MM REM MAG ONLY / PATENT NO. 3830000”. The underside of the receiver is marked “25172RR147”. $1,395 This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL dealer for $65 with signature required. The rifle will be shipped in a new foam lined double wall cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe. Payment to be made by USPS Money Order or Cashier’s Check.
