Browning 1885 High Wall .45-70 BPCR
Description: The rifle is in brand new condition. It has never been fired after it left the factory & comes with all the original literature, accessories & the rifle box as displayed in the photos. It features a heavy 30" (1/2 octagon 1/2 round) Badger barrel, Browning rear soule tang sight & spirit level front sight. The Badger barrel has 8-groove right hand twist rifling with a 1:18 twist rate. The rear soule tang sight comes with three interchangeable aperture eyecups. The hole sizes are 0.052”, 0.064”, & 0.073”. The rifle will be shipped in the original rifle box which is scuffed up some due to previous shipping and handling but in better condition than most. Everything about this rifle is perfect. If you’re a shooter or collector looking for the perfect Browning .45-70 BPCR, this is the rifle for you. There are no dings or scratches on the metal or wood. You won’t find one in better shape & with all the original literature and accessories. If you plan to shoot it in competition, for an additional $65 I can installed a Lee Shaver modified sear & light trigger spring to reduce the typical factory 5lb trigger to a crisp 2lbs or slightly less. Miroku only manufactured the BPC rifles for Browning from 1996 thru 1998. This rifle was manufactured in 1998. It features the redesigned crown & extractor. On a very accurate postage scale, the rifle weighs 11 lbs 9.6 oz with the sights & the eyecup installed. NOTE - I SELL TO CALIFORNIA BUYERS FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
