Description:
Rare Browning Trombones Up for sale

Acquired from Homer Tyler in 1989. According to Homer these were a special run or maybe even a special order for a valued customer in 1970 with special serial numbers on the left side of the receiver with Montreal barrels which are even more unique. Unlike the picture in Homers book these barrels are marked on the side of the barrel instead of on the top again an oddity. On the opposite side of barrel is stamped “ caliber 22 short, long, long rifle Browning patent. Guns have grooved receivers
And metal buttplates.
These two are consecutive numbered. Only difference is one has gold trigger and gold front bead. Beautiful wood and bluing. Not a blemish anywhere except I took picture of one small handling mark on one stock. I’m sure test fired from factory but it appears new and unfired. No boxes. I have never seen any others like this. Priced for immediate sale $ 6000 for the pair.
